In this first chapter, Monika Ballman, Ph.D., our Formulation Development Manager, shares her work on developing new solutions for our Professional Pest Management, Mosquito Management, and Lawn & Landscape business segments.
Monika explains how the potential of an active ingredient is fully realized through its final formulation. Our Envu scientists develop formulations with additional benefits like enhanced UV stability, rain resistance, and longevity, which increase overall efficacy and reduce the amount of active ingredient needed.
The role of a formulation scientist at Envu is versatile and challenging, requiring out-of-the-box thinking.
